Organic vases nr 3 and nr 4 are part of an ongoing photographic series of fictional objects made by photographer Hester Blankestijn and product designer Marielle Wichards. These still life compositions of vases are created in front of the camera and digitally, using the visual language of still life masters like Giorgio Morandi.
By constructing with nature these imaginary interior objects aim to make you think about futureproofing design with sustainable materials, in this case is the product made from the natural materials which it is designed for. Marielle and Hester are combining art history, contemporary ideas, and beautiful compositions into limited artworks.
The size of artwork incl frame 84×73 cm. The matte fine art print and is mounted on dibond in a matte beige box frame. In consultation, the size can be deviated from. The delivery time is at least 10 working days. The work will be well packaged for shipping.
